....at least for a bit anyway.
For those that don't know, after just over two years of enjoying SDW, I am relocating to the North and therefore probably going to limit my rides mainly to online.
Most of my family are still around Kent, so I will be about for the occasional Sunday smashfest.
I'll be going for coffee after the ride, then to the pub, then maybe even ordering in a pizza.... so clear your schedules.
There is the option of a slightly extended route (100km) which I will be doing, alongside the usual length route.
Thanks for everyone for making me feel so welcome in the last couple of years. The way the world is these days, with longstanding school friends being spread all over the place anyway, aside from my family, SDW is probably the thing I will miss most when I move. Genuinely the main thing contributing to any sadness I have over moving.

Please abide by the club’s riding etiquette – ensure that you all ride at the same pace within your groups and stop to wait for others if the group fragments on hilly sections, and at junctions.
Note that ride speeds are an indicator, an average across the whole year across all terrains i.e. they are not followed religiously every week on every stretch of road. It is the responsibility of every rider to get in the correct pace group, to know the route and carry appropriate drinks / gels / inner tubes / pumps etc. Once you leave in your ride group, please stay in a group and make sure all riders are accounted for.
All new riders under the age of 18 should contact Saeed Malik - clubriders@southborough-wheelers.co.uk – the Club Ride Secretary prior to the ride.
Many thanks to the riders who abide by these rules week-after-week! It is the responsibility of all riders to share/ impart club ride behaviours with your fellow riders, especially with new members.
