SERRL 34WJ Summer Series Event 2 Brenchley - 23 Mar 2014

Results

Five Southborough riders started with Paul Greer, Neil Couchman, Guy Lane, Keith Henderson and Samuel Berman riding in his first ever race.

The race took in 9 laps of the Brenchley circuit, with 9 gruelling climbs of Pixot Hill taking their toll on Paul, Neil and then Guy who'd looked strong early on. After setting some early pace, and trying a break, Keith was dropped with 3 laps to go, and scrabbled back on for 14th place in the final kick up Pixot Hill.

Sam looked comfortable throughout until he took a Cyclocross detour off-circuit on the last lap, but continued on to finish 28th from a starting field of 60 riders.

Next 3/4 race with 6 Southborough riders entered is on 1st June.

Keith Henderson, Matt Kuwertz and Guy Lane are also entered for the 2/3 SERRL race on 6th April.
