Despite the wind and forecast rain, Callum Clark entered his first circuit race in the Youth section along with Torin Henderson. They finished 7th and 8th respectively after battling together to chase back onto the bunch twice.
Nigel Smith in the Cat 4 race put in a few attacks but was unlucky with timings as a large break then got away.
Keith Henderson attacked early in the Cat 3, persisting with several subsequent breaks, but efforts came to nothing as the large bunch ultimately brought all breaks back for a bunch sprint.
