Neil Lewis competed in the final event of the Lewes crit series of 2007. With rain threatening all evening it remained dry with a good turnout of around 40 riders.

 With quite a few riders close together on points the primes were hard fought between them but overall the race stayed together until Shaun Reed (Bayeaux Landscapes) soled away. At the bell he had 30 secs and despite a hard chase hung on for the win. In the bunch sprint Neil finished 7th for 8th place overall on the night, with Dris Jones taking the 1st place in the sprint and the series overall.
