Keith Henderson, riding his folding Dahon commuting bike, won the folding bike race at the Smithfield Nocturne race evening on London on the 7th June.

After winning my heat in a sprint, I went on to win a pretty intense final which saw a 5 man break-away which again, ended in another sprint. My slight embarrassing moment came when I couldn't open the Champagne because I was so bloody knackered! I managed it in the end though and gave the photographers a good soaking!!
Lots of fun. The Le Mans style start certainly got the crowd going, of which there were alledged to be 10,000. Brilliant atmosphere. I won a £950 folding bike. Dahon, who were one of the sponsors were pretty pleased to see a Dahon rider win the prize. In case you're wondering what I'm wearing, business attire was compulsory on your top half. And yes, I am known to attend business meetings in my Vitsoe jersey, although not usually with a tie!
