For the 2nd of the 3 race series the club was again represented by Neil Lewis and Graham Hills. Although the numbers were slightly reduced from the previous week there was plenty of action. Graham managed to get in a break of 8 after 2 laps but although working hard the bunch had them in sight on the last lap and they were caught with about 100m from the line. Neil placed well in the run in, sprinted to 7th place on the night missing out on 6th by a tyre's width.

Results from round 2, these remain provisional as I understand 1 rider may not have been included.  We will look into this ASAP.

 A very exciting race with a breakaway of 8 riders that at one point gained a minute on the bunch.  Determined chasing efforts could be seen from all clubs not represented (and some that were) however, with none of the previous weeks top scorers in the move it was doomed.  Jason Salter made up most of the gap solo, taking the race up the climb past the prime line at 35mph!

Despite the race coming back together, Mark Markowski, who had been in the break took the win and Andy Seltzer who also had been in the break was only just pipped by a determined Josh Cunningham.
