Out of the over 400 entrants to the Catford 'Hell of the Ashdown' Sportive, Keith Henderson and Mat Pennell were the sole representatives from the club. Keith finished 19th overall with a time of 4hrs for the 107km route that included the climbs of Toys Hill (the easy side), Kidds Hill (The Wall, Groombridge Hill, Ide Hill and finally Star hill. Mat rode the 50k event which still included the climbs of Toys, Ide and Star Hill and finished with a time of 2hrs 44mins.

With the event full and not having pre-entered Neil Lewis, Neil Quarmby, Mike Eden and Alan Steinle also sampled the toughness of the event by following the route from Chiddingstone Causeway round to Groombridge before heading back to Tunbridge Wells/Tonbridge.
