Neil Lewis competed in the 2nd of the evening crits promoted by the Lewes Wanderers over 5 laps of a 6 mile circuit at Laughton, East Sussex.

Having taken 3rd in the first prime, Neil remained in the bunch which looked like staying together for the entire race. However following the 2nd prime sprint a group of 5 managed to a gap and despite efforts from the bunch was never caught although the break never got more than a 15 second gap.

 In the bunch sprint for 6th place Neil finished about 8th for about 13th place overall on the evening.
