The 2007 Leigh Loop
On one of the best mornings for quite a few years, 10 stalwarts faced the timekeeper. Peter Faro did his best ride of the season, coming within 12 seconds of Nick's winning time. Peter and Doug showed unique consistancy, when they both recorded 2nd lap times equal to their 1st lap.

A warm, sunny morning with light winds greeted the riders in the first of the scheduled 2 club events due to be held on the Tonbridge bypass course. (The second event due on 15th September has now been canceled due to roadworks.)
17 club members rode, with Peter Rowe taking the win in a very good time of 22.02, only a few seconds slower than his personal best. Runner up was Neil Quarmby, who already has won the club scratch competition with a maximum of 100 points from his 10 counting events.
The scratch and handicap points tables will be updated in the next few days.

The 16th and final club evening event saw an unsurprising win for Neil Quarmby and a welcome to new member Graham Hills in 3rd. The final 2 club events will be held on Saturdays, 2nd and 15th of September on the Tonbridge bypass course starting at 7.15am.

Another fine evening, not much surprise with 1st place going to Neil Quarmby with Mark Fryza in second.
Neil now has maximum points from his 10 counting rides and can not now be caught in the club championship.

Another fine warm evening for the weekly club event. Neil Quarmby once again was fastest with a time which also saw him take the 10 points for the handicap event and move into the lead overall. Mark Fryza once again wasn't outside the top 2 since his return to club events. With the absence of Neil Lewis and Keith Henderson, Neil Declemy claimed 3rd on the night. A welcome to Ben Williamson riding his first event with the club and to David Watson for his first event for 2007.
