This week's event was held on probably the toughest course used in a club event - a climb up into the Ashdown Forest from Hartfield, a descent to Groombridge then the undulating road back to Hartfield. Fortunately the earlier rain had cleared and it was a fine warm evening.

 A depleted number of riders compared to previous weeks due to holidays faced the time-keeper for the 12 mile event including for the 1st time this year, Mark Fryza.

It was business as usual with Neil Quarmby taking 1st place but changes to the usual order behind with Mark Fryza taking 2nd and for the second week running, Keith Henderson got the better of Neil Lewis for 3rd and 4th respectively.
