Catherine and Graham Hills took part in the Victor Ludorum sportive on Sun 30th Sept. The weather was very kind - dry, a bit dull and cool and a bit windy but good for the end of September.
 
Catherine did the 75 mile event and was 96th overall in a time of 5:03:14, the fastest time was 3:57:04.
 
She was 2nd in the Ladies over 40 age class, the fastest time being 4:51:42 and narrowly missed the Gold time standard of 4:54:00.
 
This was Catherine's first ever competitive cycling event and an extremely good result.
 
Graham did the 115 mile event and was 20th overall in a time of 6:07:20, the fastest time was 5:40:51
 
He was 6th in the 40-49 age class, the fastest time being 5:46:47 and achieved the Gold time standard of 6:35:00.

The event was extremely well run and the signage was very prominent and clear - not always the case in all of this type of event.
